This privacy information applies to data processing by Ulrike Brandi Licht, Lichtplanung und Leuchtenentwicklung GmbH, Bei den Mühren 88, 20457 Hamburg

Collection and storage of personal data, and the nature and purpose of its use

When you visit our website www.ulrike-brandi.de, the browser on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is stored temporarily in what is known as a log file. The following information is recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is deleted automatically:

IP address of the requesting computer, date and time of access, name and URL of the file retrieved, the website from which access was made (referrer URL), the browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.



We process the data listed above for the following purposes:

ensuring that a connection to the website is established smoothly, ensuring that our website is comfortable to use, evaluating system security and stability, and further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected in order to draw conclusions about you as a person.

We also use cookies when you visit our website. You will find further explanation under section 4 of this privacy policy.

Disclosure of data

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only pass your personal data on to third parties if:

you have given your express consent under Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR; disclosure is necessary under Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in your data not being disclosed; there is a legal obligation to disclose under Art. 6(1)(1)(c) GDPR; or disclosure is permitted by law and necessary under Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships with you.


Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser creates automatically and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do no harm to your device and contain no viruses, trojans or other malware.

A cookie stores information that arises in connection with the particular device used. This does not mean, however, that we thereby gain direct knowledge of your identity.

One purpose of using cookies is to make our offering more convenient for you. We use what are known as session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are deleted automatically when you leave our site. We do not use any other cookies.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the purposes described, in order to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties under Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.

Data subject rights

You have the right:

  • under Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about the personal data we process about you. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data where it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  • under Art. 16 GDPR, to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data or the completion of the personal data stored by us;
  • under Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of the personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • under Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data where you contest the accuracy of the data, where processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure, where we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or where you have objected to the processing under Art. 21 GDPR;
  • under Art. 20 GDPR, to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;
  • under Art. 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time once it has been given. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on that consent.

Right to object

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are grounds arising from your particular situation, or that the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case you have a general right to object, which we will implement without any particular situation being stated.

Data security

During your visit to the website we use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method. As a rule this is 256-bit encryption.

Validity and amendment of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid and dated May 2018.

As our website and the offerings on it develop further, or because of changed statutory or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. The privacy policy in force at any time can be viewed and printed at any time on the website at https://www.ulrike-brandi.de.
