The Werner Oechslin Library stands on a pilgrimage route, the Way of St. James. The path runs over the outside staircase through the house and on through the garden and landscape.
Low grazing light accompanies it inside and out. Two types of light illuminate the large library room and the curved wall: the economical halogen metal halide light and the dimmable halogen incandescent light.
