The “Haus im Haus” (house within a house) stands in the former neoclassical stock exchange hall of the Chamber of Commerce. Various, partly translucent, partly reflective cubes react as modern elements to the historic architecture. Translucent LED luminous ceiling elements, specially designed for the “Haus im Haus”, illuminate the office and exhibition areas in a uniform, shadow-free yet brilliant light. A lighting control system enlivens the ceilings with dynamic wave and cloud patterns.
The office and showrooms glow in neutral light, while the restaurant and VIP rooms shimmer in warm white light. The restrained light in the surrounding old stock exchange hall highlights the “Haus im Haus” as a light sculpture.
