In Koblenz, we planned the Forum Mittelrhein shopping center and the cultural building, Confluentes, on a shared inner-city square.
A laser-cut 3-D façade, reminiscent of leaves in the surrounding vineyards, envelops the shopping center. Our light makes it glow at night. The matte translucent glass façade of the Confluentes forms a calm abstract surface of light in the evening.
The light-water fountains flush-mounted in the square function as objects of light; the remaining public lighting is discreet.
The shopping center is colorful. Light panels in the ceiling corresponding to the form of the architecture alternate with discrete downlights for brilliant light.
