Our living-light-landscape makes you hungry for light: the 5 cubes show lighting moods for different living spaces.
Visitors to the fair enter the rooms via a wooden deck on a dune landscape. First they reach the KitchenCube, which in elegant black forms a contrasting background for the flock of light birds in the centre.
In the white BathCube, the artificial sun shines from an artificial sky into an artificial skylight with great brilliance and intensity. As the day progresses, its position and intensity change, and in the evening only a matte shimmering, dark blue sky appears.
In the red LivingCube, a versatile lighting landscape has been created with working light, reading light and ambient light. Visitors can try out the practical control of the various lighting scenes. The rainbow light accents are created by dichroic filters in the floor luminaires.
The MicroCube shows the bedroom, the radiant yellow varies in intensity depending on which light colour is controlled. The “sun” made of corn leaves makes the room lively and fresh.
In the GardenCube, we show with relatively little light how to effectively stage a private garden without light pollution.
In the “Living with Light” landscape, the Brandi Institute organised the “Light for Living” workshop during the Home² trade fair.
