The Lighting Masterplan Rotterdam represents a new generation of ideas on city lighting. In addition to the aesthetic enhancement of the city it pays respect to innovation and energy reduction.
Integral ambition is to translate Rotterdam’s dayscape into the night, serving the community needs.
Balanced and directed light enables a memorable night scene and provides a safe environment. Light reinforces the qualities of the city in terms of living, working and leisure and enhances the urban living space. Light acts as a motor of night time activity.
Rotterdam receives uniform, warm white light. A cohesive lighting solution for the entire city.
